Overview

My career spans the UK and New Zealand, across both public and private sectors, with a consistent focus on operational leadership, commercial delivery, and organisational scale.

I have operated at senior levels within complex environments—ranging from large government departments to high-growth consultancies and early-stage technology ventures—where clarity, structure, and execution are critical. My experience sits at the intersection of operations and commercial performance: translating strategy into delivery, aligning teams around outcomes, and building the systems required to scale.

I have led the creation and growth of capability at multiple levels, including establishing and scaling testing and delivery functions, supporting enterprise-level transformation programmes, and contributing directly to commercial success through major deal execution. This includes leading large teams, working across executive stakeholders, and operating within environments where governance, pace, and ambiguity must be balanced.

More recently, my focus has been on operating model design, business alignment, and execution discipline—ensuring that organisations not only define strategy, but are able to deliver against it consistently. This includes strengthening governance, improving delivery structures, and bringing greater visibility and control to performance across operations, product, and commercial activity.

At its core, my work is about creating the conditions for organisations to perform—bringing together people, process, and commercial focus to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Achievements

Enterprise Commercial Delivery

Led complex, high-value sales and delivery engagements, including securing a $5M+ SaaS deal with Fonterra, one of New Zealand’s largest listed organisations. Worked directly with senior stakeholders to shape the solution, align commercial value, and navigate enterprise procurement.

Built and Scaled National Capability (Public Sector)

Established and led the test practice within the Department of Internal Affairs, creating structure, governance, and delivery capability within a large, complex government environment. Scaled the function to support major programmes and improve consistency of delivery across the organisation.

Scaled Consultancy Operations (Assurity)

Played a key role in the growth of Assurity from ~30 to 300 consultants, contributing across both delivery and commercial functions. Led teams, supported client growth, and helped build scalable delivery models within a rapidly expanding consultancy.

International Expansion & Growth (TechTime)

Supported the growth of TechTime from ~10 to 35 employees, expanding into international markets including Europe and Australia. Contributed to both sales and operational delivery, consistently exceeding growth targets while maintaining delivery quality.
